Truke offers advice to, amongst others, municipalities and other public authorities, housing corporations, schools, hospitals, project developers and contractors.
Truke is involved in (contracting with regard to) area development, project development, procurement law, state aid law and construction law. Her experience varies from conducting negotiations to providing advice on legal structuring and laying down the agreements reached in contracts.
In 1998, Truke specialised in real estate law, firstly at the real estate department of Landwell Advocaten (formerly: PricewaterhouseCoopers Legal services) and subsequently, as from 2001, at the Property Department of Loyens & Loeff in Amsterdam. She has extensive experience in legislation and regulations specifically applicable to public authorities (including, amongst others, legislation and regulations in respect of public procurement, state aid, cost recovery, municipalities preferential rights, Joint Arrangements Act, etc.) and in the development and realisation of real estate projects: development of buildings or area development, shopping centres, stadiums as well as combination projects and projects for hospitals.
Truke has registered the following legal areas in the register of legal areas of the Netherlands Bar:

– Procurement law
According to the standards of the Netherlands Bar the registration obliges her to obtain ten training credits per year in each of the registered legal areas.

In 2000, Truke completed the Grotius postgraduate training programme on Real Estate (cum laude). She is member of the Vereniging voor Bouwrecht Advocaten (Association for Construction Law Lawyers) and of the Nederlandse Vereniging voor Aanbestedingsrecht (Dutch Association for Procurement Law). Furthermore, she is chief editor of the Property Case Law Review (Kluwer) (Rechtspraak Vastgoedrecht – Kluwer) as well as an author, involved in the Facility management programme (Euroforum).
