Legal & Compliance Officer

Tristan specialises in compliance issues and knowledge management.

As compliance officer, Tristan deals with the Wwft strategy, policy and policy development of Stijl Advocaten. He ensures the awareness, monitoring and risk management that a modern law firm specialising in real estate must comply with the AML/CTF legislation.

Furthermore, as legal & compliance officer, Tristan assists Stijl Advocaten’s lawyers with legal issues in both civil and administrative law. In this regard, Tristan has extensive experience with complex due diligence investigations.

Tristan is also heavily involved in knowledge management in the office. He takes care of keeping the information facilities and the library up-to-date.

Before joining the team at STIJL Advocaten Tristan worked as a jurist at a large agricultural enterprise.

Tristan is a member of the Dutch Jurists Association, the Construction Law Association, the Association for Compliance Officers and ELSA Alumni.

On a voluntary basis Tristan is active in a board position for an international re-enactment event (Slag om Grolle).
