Suzanne Zuidam

Senior Attorney

Suzanne specialises in civil construction and real estate law, with a focus on area and project development.

Suzanne works in Stijl Advocaten’s civil real estate practice and has extensive experience in advising, contracting and litigation. Suzanne deals with all facets of real estate law and is particularly specialised in area and project development.

Suzanne advises public authorities, investors and developers on long-term cooperation agreements (public-public and public-private), anterior agreements, building contracts and tender supervision. Related topics such as Didam, state aid law, procurement law, specific benefits (WBI/SBI), the Building Quality Assurance Act (Wkb), governance and energy transition are also discussed.

Suzanne has registered the following area of law in the Register of Jurisdictions of the Netherlands Bar Association:

This registration obliges her to earn ten training points each calendar year in accordance with the standards of the Netherlands Bar Association in each registered area of law.

Suzanne obtained her Master’s degree in civil law from Leiden University and was sworn in as a lawyer in 2011. She started her career at a niche firm specialising in construction and real estate law. Suzanne has been working at Stijl Advocaten since 2018.

In 2017, Suzanne completed the Grotius specialisation course in Real Estate Law (cum laude) and in 2015 the specialisation course in Private Construction Law of the Institute for Construction Law.

Suzanne is a member of the Construction Lawyers Association, (VBR-A) the Construction Law Association (VBR), the Young Real Estate Lawyers Association (VJOJ) and Dutch Women In Real Estate (DWIRE).
