Suzanne specializes in civil construction law, public procurement law and contract law related to real estate.
Suzanne works at STIJL in the civil real estate practice, where she advises, litigates and contracts over construction law, area development, project development, purchase/sale of real estate, company law related to real estate, rent law, public procurement law, attachment and enforcement law and financing and securities.
Suzanne counsels both clients, including project developers, housing corporations and government institutions, and contractors in (extensive) civil-law disputes. Before joining STIJL Advocaten, Suzanne worked for another niche firm that specialises in construction and real estate law.
Suzanne has registered the following legal areas in the register of legal areas of the Netherlands Bar:

– Law of obligations
According to the standards of the Netherlands Bar the registration obliges her to obtain ten training credits per year in each of the registered legal areas.
In 2017, Suzanne completed the Grotius specialization training in Real Estate Law (cum laude) and in 2015 Suzanne successfully completed the specialization course Private Law on Construction Law of the Institute for Construction Law. Suzanne regularly publishes about her field. She is also a member of the Association of Construction Law Attorneys, the Association for Young Real Estate Lawyers and FRESH Professionals.
