Emma advises and litigates on area and project development, purchase/sale of real estate, construction law and tenancy law.
Areas of interest
Emma works in the civil real estate practice and focuses among other things on (advising and litigating on) area development, project development, construction law, sale/purchase of real estate and tenancy law. In addition, she deals with professional liability of professional service providers, including civil-law notaries, estate agents and lawyers.
Registrations
Emma has registered the following area of law in the Register of Jurisdictions of the Netherlands Bar Association:
- Civil procedural law
This registration obliges her to earn ten training points in each registered area of law each calendar year in accordance with the standards of the Netherlands Bar Association.
Details
Before joining STIJL Advocaten, Emma gained experience as a legal executive at an international company and as a legal assistant at a specialised real estate office.
Emma obtained her Masters in Private Law and Criminal Law at the Vrije Universiteit of Amsterdam. During her studies, she did various traineeships in the legal profession and worked for a medium-sized law firm. In addition to her studies, Emma played hockey at a high level.
