Babita works in professional liability and civil law construction and real estate practice.

Babita works in the civil law real estate practice of Stijl Advocaten and has extensive experience in advising and contracting. Babita deals with all aspects of real estate law and specialises in particular in area and project development.
Babita advises governments, investors and developers on various types of agreements within area and project development. This also includes related themes, such as Didam, state aid law, procurement law, specific payments (WBI/SBI), the Building Quality Assurance Act (Wkb), governance and the energy transition.

Babita obtained her Master’s degree in civil law from the University of Groningen. She started her career at a large municipality in North Holland, where she was involved in advising and contracting within area and project development. Babita has been working at Stijl Advocaten since 2026.
In 2021, Babita completed the Grotius specialisation course in Real Estate Law.
