Simone litigates and negotiates on area and project development, purchase/sale of real property, procurement law, construction law and rent law.
Simone Heemskerk focuses on the civil real estate practice, where she acts as a consultant, litigator and negotiator in the field of area development, project development, sale/purchase of real property, procurement law, construction law and rent law. Simone has also extensive experience in public-private partnerships. She advised several national and international companies during the tendering phase of various DBFM(O) (Design, Build, Finance, Maintain and Operate) projects, including accommodation-, infrastructure- and water projects.
Simone has registered the following legal areas in the register of legal areas of the Netherlands Bar:
– Real estate law / Construction law
– Procurement law
According to the standards of the Netherlands Bar the registration obliges her to obtain ten training credits per year in each of the registered legal areas.
Simone obtained a Master of Law degree in Civil Law from the University of Leiden. She also followed a part of her studies at the University of Granada, Spain. During her studies she worked, inter alia, as a volunteer at the Leidse Rechtswinkel (a legal advice centre) and at a small law firm in Leiden with a focus on civil law and administrative law.
Simone is member of the Vereniging van Jong Onroerend goed Juristen (Association of Young Real Estate Lawyers), the Nederlandse Vereniging voor Aanbestedingsrecht (Dutch Association for Procurement Law), Jong Onroerend goed Amsterdam (JOA) and FRESH Professionals.
